Description:
The TV cable mounting hole on Holley carburetors will not duplicate the amount of OE TV cable travel required for GM and Ford transmissions. GM 200C and 2004R have a different amount of cable travel than the GM 4L60 and Ford AOD transmissions. A properly functioning TV system is critical for the transmission line rise and shift timing. Incorrect TV cable travel results in improper setting of TV cable adjustments, leading to incorrect pressures and shift timing. When modifying a vehicle other factors will also effect TV cable geometry, such as carburetor spacers, intake manifold type and TV cable bracket location.
GM TH200C and 2004R have different amount of cable travel than the GM 4L60 and Ford AOD transmissions. This kit easily adapts to work with all these applications.
This kit is only suited for Holley carburetors with aftermarket-style throttle arm. This kit is not intended to work with OE Holley carburetors or other full race styles of throttle arm.
